AAPBA Board Of Directors Tracy Hegberg Jeanne Griffin Wayne Ray Terry Ray Dawn Barton Richard Barton Evelyn Townsend The AAPBA administrative board convenes on a regular basis to tackle the tough problems that faces the dog world in a completely different direction then any other known registry to date. The AAPBA Registry shares many of the same concerns and views that rescues, shelters and pounds do, and cares about what is happening across the nation. The administrative board receives no monetary payment for their voluntary commitment and relies on team satisfaction and accomplishments for their reward. This was one of the reasons the unique AAPBA Registry was name Registry of Registries and what clearly separates the AAPBA Registry from all the others registries. Passed to most Resent Board Decisions The proposal to treat all dogs equally as respect status. Results passed To register and treat all dogs as equals pure bred, mix bred and spayed and neutered. This action will continue to reduce the over population in rescues pounds and shelters not to mention it sends a strong message to the public that registries can make a difference about the overall treatment and outlook of all dogs. The proposal to allow all dogs a chance for registration. Results passed. To allow all dogs a chance for registration regardless of origin rescues, shelter, pounds or other registries. This action will continue to reduce the over population in rescues pounds and shelters not to mention it sends a strong message to the public that responsible registries can and should correct the problems that they are responsible for. The proposal to allow all dogs a chance to compete in club events. Results passed. To allow all dogs a chance to compete in all club events to exclude conformation only to pure bred. This action will continue to reduce the over population in rescues pounds and shelters and give responsible dog owners a fair chance to compete their dogs in competitive fun events. The proposals to register all dogs for free. Results passed. All dogs will be registered free of charge with a self addressed stamped envelope. If pedigrees are requested a donation is required. This action will continue to reduce the over population in rescues pounds and shelters and give responsible dog owners a fair chance to compete their dogs in competitive fun club events. This action will in addition sends a clear precise message to the general public that other registries are in the business to make money on the promotion of over breeding. The proposals to limit litter register to female pure breeds dogs. Results passed. and to make it free of charge. Results failed. To limit the amount of litter registration offered to purebred dogs to three throughout the female dogs life. All female purebred dogs will be litter registered for a donation of twenty dollars with a self addressed stamped envelope. This action will in addition sends a clear precise message to the general public that over breeding will not be tolerated. This action will in addition sends a clear message not only the general public but to breeders that the AAPBA Registry is serious about the over breeding problem and has taken corrective action. The proposals to offer kennel names free of charge. Results passed. The action for the sale of a kennel name by a registry is another way of showing the general public that they are in the business of making money. The proposals to offer breeders list to the public and free of charge to breeders. Results failed to both request. A breeder's list only promotes over breeding and that is it, to charge an amount by a registry to be placed on a breeders is charging a fee to over breed neither of which the AAPBA promotes or condones. The proposals to acknowledge what is considered a puppy mill by AAPBA standards. Results passed. A set a number on which the AAPBA considers a puppy mill is a fourth litter by the same registered female throughout its life, this is why the AAPBA will not register a fourth litter by any AAPBA registered female. The AAPBA has the strictest standard on breeding, and believes that puppy milling is rarely done by one breeder breeding a hundred dogs but more commonly what seems to go unnoticed is a hundred breeders over breeding a couple of dogs. Over breeding must come to a halt AAPBA Board Of Directors Over view The AAPBA Registry crosses traditional lines first; by helping rescues, shelters and pounds with free registration which gets the new owner and the these dogs a second chance. Secondly, clubs allowing spayed and neutered dogs in all club functions and competitions. Third, registration of mix breed dogs allowing them a chance to participate in club functions. The AAPBA Registry is here to make the difference, abuse starts with conception of dogs by breeders that over breed, this is an abuse and a burden on the general public with the use of animals, abuse is millions of dogs that cannot be placed and are put down in the rescues, shelters and pounds across the nation each year. The AAPBA Registry is here at the front lines changing the abuse that no other registry in the world would even admit to, most registries are in it for monetary means not to correct the problems they themselves cause. Join the AAPBA Registry in our fight to end the abuse in the households across the nation; you can make the difference in supporting the AAPBA Registry by reversing our nations dog problems.
