Small or large the Alpha Dog Award is structured to bring out the top dog in any breed. The Alpha Dog Award was created to recognize and reward the dog that conquers the AAPBA event system. Our system ultimately maximizes the dogs' potential but also focuses more on providing a recognized and familiar state for the dog in a stress free environment. In the Alpha Dog Award challenge the different and important aspects of a dog are captured on our arena platforms at the AAPBA dog shows while keeping the following key elements in perspective: character, proficiency, skill and purpose. The results are absolutely tremendous and the Alpha Dog Award ultimately redefines the "Champion Dog". The dogs that pass the challenge earn the highest championship title and rank, the "Alpha Dog Award" and are held and honored in the highest regard. AAPBA & AAPBA 2 registered dog are eligible to achieve the Alpha Dog Award and must earn a championship title in 5 of these events. For more info on events click here.
